Ayurvedic Solutions for beard growth

Hey there, hope all is well with my folks. Ever since, I gave you suggestions for beard diet and oils, I have been getting a lot of good response. As some of you pointed out and wanted to know, I was on the hunt for Ayurvedic Solutions for beard growth.

That is when I found out home remedies for hair growth are not restricted to women. Ayurveda has solutions for beard growth as well. Because, as you all know, by now, perks of growing a beard are not defined but implied. Importantly, ayurvedic properties can possibly give you satisfying beard growth.

1. Amla:

Indian gooseberry quite popular as Amla has immense untold properties. It not only gets you rid of losing hair but also aids in hair growth. A simple massage on your facial hair with Amla essential oil will work wonders.

The best time to massage your beard is after washing it thoroughly.

2. Lemon:

Most commonly found at every home; lemon is loved by everyone. From its appearance to taste, everything is refreshing. The little package comes with great hidden benefits. Lemon discards dirt and flakes, which refrain hair growth. Rub lemon juice on your facial hair; if itching persists, mix a few drops of lemon juice in a small amount of coconut oil and massage gently, followed by routine beard wash.
Secondly, apply cinnamon powder and lemon juice paste on your beard, and wash it with cold water after 30 minutes. In addition, this remedy boosts the growth of your facial hair.

3. Clove and Nutmeg oil:

The tiny clove and nutmeg deserve acknowledgment for their benefits. Clove holds anti-microbial properties, which aids in killing the bacteria and softening your facial hair. Whereas, Nutmeg volumes and conditions the beard. A massage with the mixture of these oils will give you best of the beard growth results.

4. Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil is synonymous with hair growth, this we have learned from our mothers. Well, same is the case for facial hair also. Combine coconut oil with rosemary oil in a proportion of 10:1 (10 parts coconut oil with 1 part rosemary oil); this is important to prevent the essential oil from causing irritation of the face. It’s not greasy just like other oils and due to Lauric acid; hence it’s able to penetrate your skin more effectively.

5. Eucalyptus Oil:

Like rosemary oil, eucalyptus oil is also an essential oil that can help to stimulate the growth of facial hair. While using rosemary oil, mix it with any carrier oil to avoid irritation of the skin, for e.g, olive oil or sesame oil is a good option. Eucalyptus is a natural antiseptic which includes active ingredients like citronella and 1, 8-cineole, and also makes it a very potent anti-bacterial agent.

Keep other factors also in mind along with the Ayurvedic treatments like proper diet and hygiene. If you are a smoker, then you better understand that nicotine does not promote facial hair growth. Got another reason to quit the habit?
